Myspace linking question
Hi !
When I add a sprout to Myspace, and click on some of links on it, I got that "redirecting you now, if nothing happened in 5 seconds, copy and paste...." pop up.
Nothing never happenes after 5 seconds, so I am interested is there any way sprout can really redirect and open that link without copying it, and pasting in the browser, or is it just made to force people to copy and paste a link.

MySpace does not let us link directly to external URLs. The copy and paste popup is the only solution we can provide at this time. It has nothing to do with us, just that MySpace does not allow any Flash files to link directly to an external URL
have you tried to make something like widgetbox ?
i know that myspace doesnt allow flash external links, but widgetbox made it like when you click on link in flash, it open some kind of popup where link is valid

Thanks again for this tip. It looks like widgetbox is doing some CSS trickery. The thing I haven't figured out yet is how their flash widget is talking to their html elements. I didn't think myspace allowed that. Our software team will have a better idea, I'll pass this info along.
