Editing Sprout

I've challenged myself by building my portfolio using Sprout. So far I love the program and it's web capabilities. I have noticed a glitch though that can be frustrating at times. Especially when you have a large number of pages in your Sprout. It will look great and I'll save and publish, but when I go back in to edit content, a lot of my images are all off grid from the previous save! I have to go back to those pages and realign images and buttons every time! Is there anyway to correct this?

Thanks for reading!

Hello Dave,

We've been hearing intermittent reports of this behavior. We're still trying to reproduce in house and understand what may be happening, but in the meantime, try using the "lock" tool to lock down your images. A few users have reported that that helps.

also, don't forget to "unlock" them if you need to make changes.

Thanks! Austin! It's funny...through all the hours of staring at the Sprout editing tools I never considered the idea of locking my images! ha. That works perfectly for the time being!
I appreciate the help.

Hope all is well.

Hello Everyone,

We've fixed the bug that was causing images or other elements to sometimes re-position themselves to the center of the canvas... so you shouldn't need to do this "locking of elements" workaround anymore ;)

Thanks,

Austin
