Using PollDaddy

In order to use a PollDaddy poll in your Sprout, you first have to have an account at the PollDaddy website.

Click on the “create an account” link.

Click on the “Sign Up” button in the free account column to continue registration.

Click “Sign Up” after you have entered your information.

After your account has been created, you will be redirected to the account page. This is where you can set up your profile, and create polls and surveys.

To create a poll, click on the Polls tab near the top of the page. A drop down menu will appear. Click on “Create a poll” to get started.

Here you will see your poll creating station and you can now begin creating your poll. Enter your question, and your answers.

After you have finished, click on the “Save and Continue” button at the bottom of the page. Your poll is now created.

Now that you have created your poll, you’re ready to put it on your Sprout. Open the Sprout Builder homepage and launch Sprout Builder.

You can add your poll to a new Sprout or an existing one.

Go to the Components Panel and click on Services to select from various 3rd party services.

Now, either click on the PollDaddy icon or drag and drop the icon to your canvas.
Double click on the PollDaddy Component on your canvas.

The Component will now ask for the e-mail address and password you used to register with PollDaddy.

After you click the OK button, the Component will automatically display your most recent poll in the drop-down menu.

Here you can choose between which poll you would like to display. When you have selected the poll you would like to display, click on the OK button.

Your poll is now displayed on your canvas, ready to be used in your Sprout.

I hope this helps.
