Can we customise the look of the ad bar yet?

I really don't mind the sprout tag at all - I love sharing Sprout with people anyway =) But I would also love to be able to change the colors of the ad bar to match my website... is this doable yet???

Hi Hank,

You can change the look of the share bar. To do this you must sign up for a Pro Account which will allow you to remove the Sprout share bar altogether. After doing so, you can select and customize any object or text field to become your new share bar. All you have to do is highlight the object you want and select "Share/embed page" under Link & Tracking in the Properties panel, which will then become your new share button. See http://sproutbuilder.com/blog/2008/06/29/tip-setting-your-pro-share-acco... for a demo video and further instruction on this. Hope this helps!

Problem making a Share Button

When I select "no tracking" then my custom made share button doesn't work.

When I select "standard" tracking then it works. But,...

Problem is that I want to use these sprouts on www.hyves.nl
and the IMG code at the end (tracking) leaves a big empty area

I figured out that when I delete the following code:

style="visibility:hidden;width:0px;height:0px;" border=0 width=0 height=0

Then it seems ok,... but it would be better without the tracking and with my own share-button.

Oh I don't know that I want to get rid of the share bar River. Like I said, I really enjoy sharing the Sprout tool with everyone. It happens to be the single and only advert that I would make the choice to leave intact even if I could remove it. That's how cool Sprouts is to me.

My desire though is the ability to change it's color to fit in with the color scheme of my site. I may sign up for pro anyway at some point just to get a custom share function - but that doesn't mean I want to remove the ad bar. Sprouts is so cool I feel kind of proud to be a user .. lol

Several coworkers have commented how I always find the latest coolest things on the web after sharing the Sprouts builder with them... lol

So yea, I'm just talking color scheme. It would be nice to have some choices for the colors in the ad bar
