I've played around with all the options I could think of in order to try to get some "buttons" that look / act like folder tabs... and I'm out of ideas.

Other than Sprout incorporating a new feature (hint, hint)... any suggestions on getting some folder tabs to work?

The sample attached is using png files for the tabs in order to get transparency around the outside of the tab. They are filled with white. Also - the transparency that is used doesn't show on a white background... but looks kinda neat on other colors.

If you try to fill the image with some color - only fills the transparent portion. If you make the insides transparent for fill, you have to remove the transparency on the outer part... which loses the effect.

I tried using a regular button and the image-fill option for them and got the same type of problem... gotta fill the outer area so that the button colors stay within the tab.

It's been a nice exercise but I'm out of ideas.
