Approximately how big is this SPROUT community at the moment? With this cool platform we'll be sprouting lots of ideas in no time and I'm sure the community will grow fast.

If your asking me how big it is, I have no clue. I do know though, no matter how big this company gets, or how much it may fail, Me and my website will be backing it up 100%, because I think it's a great idea, and I love using Sprout. :o)

Robert and Lynda,

Thanks so much for your support! We are very small community right now as we are still in private beta. We do look forward to expanding the community and with your help making sure it is fertile, robust, and a fun place to share ideas and learn from each other.

I thought I'd come out of lurking mode to say hi. Love Sprout Builder and glad to be in on the early days.

I work with several non-profit organisations in the US for whom I'm developing Sprouts. I also write for two of the leading computer monthlies back home in Australia, so I'm always interested in something new. It's not often, though, that I find something new that really excites me, like Sprout.

Hi all,

This sprout builder application is the easiest way I know of to create widgets and have them virally shared across various social networks.

Best,

Jay

I have just found this great tool and am so excited to be sprouting on sprout. Being a simple user type it is taking me awhile to understand the tools and templates, but I am lovin it!
Thanks for all the great work! Christine

Even though I haven't completely used this program yet, probably because I haven't finished my web page that I am advertising for, I completely love it.
I'm curious to see if the development of Flash for the iPod Touch and iPhone will be developed far enough to work with Sprout and some other web apps (Photoshop Express, Aviary, etc...).
Could you imagine using your fingers to control Sprout?!

I just want to be the 10th person here to say how much I love Sprout! Also, I am wondering if there are any other librarians out there like me who are using Sprout as a promo tool for their library. I have created a Sprout, sort of a draft of a calendar of events, but I haven't published it anywhere yet. I feel like I'm missing something, like I could be doing so much more. Any "out-of-the-box" thinkers have ideas on what I could do with it for a library?

Stephanie H-

I am new to Sprout as well, but I found a simple way to use it to celebrate National Library Week. I added a video to our site using Sprout. Here's the link:http://bullardlibrary.org/index.html I am also looking for new ways to incorporate Sprout on our site. At any rate, it may not be "out-of-the box" but it's a start. Good Luck!

Thanks for that link. The video was great! Where did you get it? Was it free?

If you go to this link: http://alfocus.ala.org/categories/national-library-week you will see on the right side under "Video Help" another link for downloading the various videos. As you will see there are a number of them to choose from. Good luck!
