We want your ideas for Tip & Tricks videos!

Hello Sprout Community!

The new Sprout interns are on board for the summer and they're rearing to go. I know a lot of you have become experts at using Sproutbuilder and therefore I'd like to invite your suggestions for our Tips & Tricks video section.

Here's the deal:

- Send me your tip & trick idea (frank@sproutbuilder.com) or post it as a comment here. Please be as detailed as possible.

- The interns will take your and make an awesome video screencast to share your brilliance with the rest of the Sprout community.

- We'll acknowledge you by name in the video (if you wish). Just think, you'll be famous!

- We'll publish the video in the Builder help section (below), the Sprout Youtube channel, and on Sproutbuilder.com

To jump start your brain, here are Tips & Tricks I've come up with:

- How to collect and display input through a form on your Sprout.
- Add a hover effect to a button.
- Using image maps for your navigation menu.

Look forward to hearing your ideas!

Great idea. This it the Sprout I am currently working on. It is a mash up of all the feeds and services I like. It was a bit bloated in my earlier version but I think it loads better now.

My tips:

- Use RSS feeds from various platforms to import pretty much any of your content
- Use the Google form to collect data or receive emails through your sprout
- Use the Ribbit call button service to receive phone calls from your sprout viewers

Hey Frank, (Jason Miles here)...

Firstly, Sprout is the coolest thing I've seen on the internet in a long long time. Dude, this is crazy!!

My tip - Ebay Store Shopping via RSS!! As you can see from my first Sprout effort, we are using it to market my wife's new business to her friends via Myspace & Facebook. We used your green/growth motif to symbolize her business being a little sprout that needs to grow, (I thought that was nice adaptation of your enviro template). Anyway...One shockingly cool feature is the slick RSS feed from her Ebay Store. It imports her current listings very nicely - with full click-through links supported -wow - that rocks! Actually, the whole thing still blows my mind. I can't believe I just made this & it works!!!!

Thanks again, and of course, any free exposure you can give our sprout would be appreciated :) How do we get in your gallery? :) - Jason & Cinnamon Miles
