Adding Blip.tv video to Sprout

One of our users (Owen Mack) provided a nifty little trick today to post blip.tv video into sprout.

I'm running vids from blip.tv no prob--you can drop .flv's in the sprout video window (not just youtube urls), and blip makes your raw .flv's available. go into the page for your blip video and click on "media" in the right hand column, grab the url for the flv, and drop it into sprout. nice!

Yes.. you can play any raw .flv in the sprout video player. As long as you can get the URL for the .flv you can just add it to you asset manager or directly into the video component and you are ready to go.

We are working on integrating additional video sources with Brightcove and MySpace video up next in queue. Thanks for all the input and big thanks Owen and other users who are passing on their tips and tricks. Please make sure to read the forums as there is a wealth of information there. We are launching a major overhaul of the forums soon that will have searching and other key functions.
