We will be performing OS upgrades on our servers at midnight tonight (July 29 12:00AM PST) and expect it to take under 30 minutes. You will likely experience system availability issues if you are using Sprout Builder during this service window.

The Sprout Builder application will be unavailable for a brief period between 3:00AM and 4:00AM PDT to perform some scheduled maintenance tasks. Please avoid working on your sprout within this window. The delivery of published sprouts will not be affected.

Seems like now is a good time to chime in and introduce myself. I'm Kent Howard, Chief Architect at Sprout. I focus on developing the systems architecture which, in other words, means that I work on the problems involved in putting all the pieces of our software puzzle together and keeping them that way. This includes user-facing functionality as well as the stuff we need to keep the developers and business folks happy. It's such a pleasure to work with such a cohesive team that we have at Sprout and I'm looking forward to continued releases containing great new features! I'm a San Francisco based "Sproutee". However, I'm at the Hawaii office right now fortuitously avoiding the San Francisco rain and gloom. I'm definitely not a visual artist; and I wanted to do something crazy with Yahoo Pipes or Dapper and Sprout, but, alas, there's not much time for that kind of thing right now as we are still in a pretty high gear here. So I went through my old bookmarks looking for ideas, preferably something that made me laugh, and stumbled on an old favorite.
